What We Collect

During Phase 1, Fact Checker is an admin-only platform. We do not collect personal information from public visitors. Published articles are freely accessible without registration.

Admin Accounts

Admin accounts authenticate via Google OAuth. We store the minimum information required: email address, display name, and profile image provided by Google. This data is stored in our database hosted on Supabase (US region).

Investigation Data

Content submitted for investigation (text, images, URLs) is processed by AI services (Anthropic, Tavily, Google) and stored in our database. This data is used exclusively for fact-checking purposes and is not shared with third parties beyond the AI processing necessary for investigation.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party cookies.

Data Storage

All data is stored on Supabase servers in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
